Artist James Mesick with his Art Exhibit at the "Five
Rivers Environmental Center in Del Mar New York this past Oct. 2005.
James Mesick is a person with a lot of accomplishments
and abilities. Even though a life threatening accident could have
taken his life, James pulled through it and recovered fully except for the
loss of the use of his legs which left him with paraplegia.
Being the strong person he is and I mean strong, Jim went on to win a title for weightlifting and has phenomenal upper body strength.
Other Athletic pursuits include wheelchair racing where he also came out
in the lead.
Many people who face paraplegia would be content to live the rest of there
days in sanctuary at home rather than deal with the obstacles it takes to
work, find work, find employers willing to work with you and all the other
numerous things people deal with such as mowing the lawn which Jim does in
his wheelchair with the push mower in front of him.
Jim works part time as a Draftsperson and as soon as he is done with that
he devotes most of the rest of his free time to his Painting.
Inspired by his brother who was one of the best black and white "Wild Life
Artists" around, Jim excels at this talent also only he works in Color.
Before he moved to Albany, Jim already had a following and sold numerous
paintings. We anticipate the same success online and in his new
hometown of Albany New York.
While this page exclaims the specialty of Wild Life Art, it is not the only
style that James does. Jim is equally talented whether he is doing
Realism, Impressionism or Commercial style Art. There is a very nice
selection to choose from and more coming since James paints every day.
