Famous Russian Artist and Humanitarian
Alexander Vereinov with Humanitarian Maxim Goubanov work towards the Benefit of Disabled
Russian Citizens
In Russia it is a harsh and
difficult life for the citizens whom live there. Even though the walls have come
down and their is a new freedom for Russian Citizens that was not there
before.......... The new planned system has not reached it's goal yet.
Yes, Russian Citizens can now purchase American Goods but the ruble does not
have the power to buy those goods. It is a cruel disparity when one can
see all that would make like better but it is so far out of reach and reality
that it is like a starving person walking by a buffet every day and smelling the
good food but seeing a sign that says "All you can Eat" for $5.95 yet having
only a days hard earned wages of $2.00
Because the Russian People are good people like
you and me they walk by the Buffet never taking anything.
This is the Reality of those who are able to work.
For those who are Disabled it is something so terrible that you would not want
to live it. It is not the fault of the Government or the Ministry for they
all do everything they can for their citizens. There are so many needs in
this harsh land that the needs of the Disabled are last as is a common thing in
many countries.
Alexandra Vereinova whom is Alexander's Mother and
a former Elementary School Teacher was one of the Disability Rights Activists
who fought to get food and needed items to Disabled Citizens in Russia.
Alexandra is 84 yrs. old now and worries about what might happen to her son
someday.
The current situation of the Disabled Russian
Citizens in Russia is a serious, serious lack of Wheelchairs, Medicine,
Technological Assistance, Food, and Mobility. To be Disabled in Russia can
mean being separated from your family and having to live in a group environment.
Being Disabled in Russia can mean that you may never get to leave your apartment
or home........ Never go to a Public Building........ Never being able to go to
the Doctor...... Never being able to go to a Museum..... Never being able to
visit a friend or go to the Park or anyplace at all. There are some
Disabled Russian Citizens who have never been outside of their building.
Ever. In addition to the lack of mobility there is also a lack of buildings
which can accommodate wheelchairs. If there is no one to lift you up and
down sidewalks or carry you in to a building then there is no way to get around.
In America this would be called a Prison but it should never be a crime to
be Disabled nor to be poor. The average pension for a Disabled Person in
Russia is just $50.00 a month. The lowest cost of a wheelchair is around $400.00
Medicine, Food, and warm clothing are luxuries. Even though the Ministry
of Health works hard to get wheelchairs to it's citizens, it can take a waiting
period of around 5 years to be gifted with a Wheelchair. This plan to assist
those in need is not meant to embarrass a caring and hardworking Ministry in
Russia. It is simply an innovative plan to help by those who also care and
to get help faster to those Disabled Russian Citizens whom are literally dying
from isolation, loneliness, and feeling of uselessness. In America one
would never believe that someone would steal from the Disabled or steal money or
items that are meant for them, but it is a rampant problem when a powerful
Russian Mafia would exploit these people in need. For the simple
reason that this problem still exists, Maxim and Alexander have started an
independent plan that truly serves the people. At any time in History in
our world in any country when those who exploit or trick the unfortunate or
needy then those who are able to see beyond this Tyranny can choose to not be
involved with those factions and instead create their own system based on the
"Needs of the People and the Universal Power of Love and the Common Sense of the
Human Mind" to overcome that Tyranny and achieve dreams and goals independent of
any system of Tyranny.
In our World there are many who have been blessed
with plenty and a bountiful supply of food, clothing, and wheelchairs laying
around unused. I believe in the goodness of those whom are reading this
and wish to help. I believe there are brilliant people with excellent
problem solving skills, negotiating skills, communications skills, and
coordinating skills who can step forward and coordinate with Maxim and Alexander
on the plan to assist Disabled Russian Citizens. No person would ever
want to be denied the ability to go outside and smell a flower or to see a
friend. Your kind hearts filled with Love for those who need you,
will never be forgotten.
If you are a Church please consider to start a
fund to send money for wheelchairs, canes, baby carriages,
medicine, and food for Disabled Russian Citizens to the Alexander Vereinov
Disabled Russian Citizens Fund.
From the words of Maxim Goubanov it is advised to
not send these things but to send money to buy them because:
We have crazy rules in Russia
concerning charity.
15-20 years ago we had a rule don't collect any customs duty
for the goods that we sending to us from abroad by charitable
organizations. Disabled communities, churches could import
goods from abroad without (or low) tax. Bad people used this
gap in tax law to make a big money. Thus our government decided
to tax everything and it doesn't matter that goods will be
for charity. Recipient in Russia will have to pay 20-35% for
this present and custom-house officer will value it initial
price. For example he can value a wheelchair at $2000, so
we have to pay $500 for tax... Nobody has such many here.
It's much better to buy everything here."
