"Artist Dave Simpson" Assistive Adaptive Technology allows Artist Dave Simpson to mount his camera to his wheelchair and go to work. The nature of my disability began in the summer of 1997 when I was diagnosed with ALS known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. I Live life in a wheelchair, with limited use of my hands & arms. I mount a digital camera on my wheelchair, and with BFO's I can take pictures. My goal as an artist, is to stay alive till I get cured
I create my own, one of a kind Digital Art. I enter my digital photos into the
computer. Next I run the photos thru 2 photo programs & 2 painting
programs painstakingly painting on the computer. The end result is original
digital art." Each piece can take up to to 30 hours to create.
