Artists Submission Form
Welcome to Disabled Artists Network. Whether you are a new Artist or a returning Artist with a Disability, DAN will always be free for Artists. Artists will be in complete control of there own work regarding sales and people may contact you directly in regard to your work or purchasing your work.
Before we get to the submission part I need to explain a little about the technical side from a webmaster point of view. This site has to maintain a fast load time for those who still use dial up or have to use dial up internet services. For this reason, I have to limit the amount of graphics on a page so it doesn't take an hour to load like the fancy flash websites do. If your art form is Music, please make a MySpace page and have a music player on it that I can copy to your D.A.N. page.
Before you fill this form out, please make sure you have all your social network pages completed in place. Your D.A.N. page will link to them so that visitor's can view more of your work there and find you. Social Network sites are a great way to socialize and show graphic images of artwork but they do not rank as well in search engines as far as individual pages go so that is why I link them all together here as D.A.N. does rank well in search engines.
The other reason for the social network sites is to be able to keep up with everyone. I am the only person that works on this site. It is a mega-site and the need far exceeds what I am able to keep up with so until I get caught up (I probably never will) please understand it just takes time to work on the pages, do the css, html, w3c stuff and so on. However don't despair because while you are waiting there are some things you can do to help yourself. Please join each of these social networks, create a profile and upload your art. They will all link to your page on D.A.N. It is up to you how many of these you would like to join but please join at least one. If anything happened to me this site would disappear but the social network sites would likely go on forever.

By clicking the photo to the left you can add Dan Artists as your friend on
Facebook and DAN will add you then list you under the Artists so that
Visitors can find you from there. Be sure to post some of your
work on your Facebook page also. When you create your Facebook
page you can use your real name or your alias artist name if you prefer.
Visitors can not instantly view your profile or art unless they too are
members of Facebook and they have added you as a friend. Get a free facebook profile at

sign up if you use an alias).
Click on icon to join DAN on ORKUT. Orkut has a lot of great features
also and some fun stuff like apps and ease of moving from your profile
to other things like maps or joining a community. You can also
post images, video and connect to your blogs and socialize easily with
other members. Orkut profiles are not visible to the public unless
they are a member and have joined. Add Dan as your friend here
