Every time I saw Matt's work I always said "Someday your going to be famous.  That was back in 2000 when Matt first became a member of Disabled Artists Network.  Now that time has come.

 When Matt first started painting I doubt that he ever dreamed his career would switch to Art but it was Love that propelled him in a direction that would change his life forever.

At the very young age of eight years Matt and his family were on Vacation. The plane they were flying in crashed on the runway.  Left alone and severely injured and burned Matt fought to stay conscious.   Looking up from from where he lay were bunny rabbits watching.  By the time help arrived there was nothing that could be done to save Matt's arm but the Doctor's saved his life. 

Years later, Love motivated Matt to paint his very first picture.  Whipping out a piece of cardboard Matt created his first masterpiece to impress his Amour' and convinced her that he was an Artist even though he had never painted a day in his life.  She believed him and from that day on Matt worked hard and painted seriously.  Any person who is a collector of Art can not miss the profound feelings, the deep passion and truly good Art created by a Man who wins my respect every single time.  So much so I asked permission from the very kind Billy Idol and his hardworking Webmaster Carole to have his song "Rebel Yell" play in the  background for this short introductory art show showcasing the talent of both Artists.  The bottom line is when anyone is hit with adversity and trauma in their life that you really have to be a "Rebel" to overcome it and come out on top no matter what things happen to you.
